ASMACO 2890 SL features a neutral-cure, non-corrosive formulation with excellent resistance to ozone, UV radiation, and extreme temperatures (-30°C to 185°C). It cures upon exposure to moisture, forming an ultra-low modulus, flexible silicone rubber that accommodates significant joint movement. This low modulus is especially beneficial for asphalt substrates with low tensile strength, reducing strain and improving durability.
