TETRON-R134A is a 99.9% pure inert gas used primarily as a high-temperature refrigerant for domestic refrigeration and automobile air conditioners. It is also used as a propellant for aerosol and a blowing agent for extruded polystyrene foams. Tetron-R134a is a haloalkane refrigerant with thermodynamic properties similar to R-12 but with less ozone depletion potential and excellent safety performance. It is a colourless gas at ordinary temperature and a transparent liquid under pressure.
